Gamecube- Ep. 1 & 2 vs Ep 1 & 2 Plus - IvIelacia - 16-06-2006 If I purchased 1 & 2 plus, would i be able to play with characters made on ep 1 & 2? What are the benefits of having plus instead of the regular? Im going insane Gamecube- Ep. 1 & 2 vs Ep 1 & 2 Plus - Teh EkwEE - 17-06-2006 Yes, your characters transfer. All that + really has is three Ep2 Quests, one of which, Seat of the Heart, is very fun. Now if they would release another expansion that would allow you to play the multiplayer quests offline. THAT would be fucking awesome. Gamecube- Ep. 1 & 2 vs Ep 1 & 2 Plus - Sephiroth Now - 17-06-2006 Plus removes the shop-dupe glitch and it adds some protection from coruption. They just put it back again.
Gamecube- Ep. 1 & 2 vs Ep 1 & 2 Plus - Magician X - 18-06-2006 When i got Pso 1&2 plus it wouldnt let me convert my Pso 1&2 characters to it. Maybe cause Plus was american and 1&2 was australian. DAMN !!
Gamecube- Ep. 1 & 2 vs Ep 1 & 2 Plus - Teh EkwEE - 18-06-2006 Yeah, regional codes prevent that kinda' thing....get a freeloader, or make sure you are more coherent with your regional code game buying purchases. Gamecube- Ep. 1 & 2 vs Ep 1 & 2 Plus - pink - 20-06-2006 There's also very minor gameplay adjustments in Plus... such as the Belras being more aggressive. The only actual important difference I've found between the two is that on PSO Plus, your screenshots come out crisp and clear, instead of a bit blurry.
Gamecube- Ep. 1 & 2 vs Ep 1 & 2 Plus - IvIelacia - 21-06-2006 I don't remember where I read this but I read that your characters are transferable between the two (plus and normal), but in the plus version you have the chance to use your photon drops in the offline mode in episode 2. This is the main reason I'm tryin to buy plus. If it's false then I wouldn't really buy plus. Gamecube- Ep. 1 & 2 vs Ep 1 & 2 Plus - 09s - 21-06-2006 PSO+ just updates your saves, it doesn't transfer it anywhere. The only real update it does it just adding + in PSO lol The disk itself is what mainly updated, not the save files itself. And no you don't get to use your PDs, they are only used online. What you do get is a little higher magic resistence from enemies, glitch fixes, and 4 new quests offline. If you are going online, it saves you from lobby corruption and double saves. |
