Ok, Blue burst is a PC version of phantasy star online, Online only, and is free to download from http://www.psobb.com the £6 a month hunters license fee is still there though.
It is essentially PSO ver1&2 for the gamecube. With an extra Episode (4) thrown in.
Episode 4 consists of 5 crater areas, and 3 subterrainian desert areas, where wonderfully named new monsters live. theres a few quests available for episode 4 currently, more are (apperently) on their way.
there is only one New boss, but there are 3 versions of it, one of which is a rare enemy.
some of the ep1 & 2 quests from the gamecube/xbox versions still need to be added to blue burst, but besides that, its great!
Oh yeah, and there is plenty of new weapons and items to discover
(duping is now, to my knowledge, impossible, hacking isnt much of a problem, and your characters are now perfectly safe)
I can go into the story of episode 4 aswell if you'd like O.o

On the psobb site it says that new users will be given access to a free trial period of two weeks but i'm wondering... do you still have to enter credit card details to get the free trial? because you didnt have to on the gc....
EDIT DE: is there any pre paid game cards that you can buy so you dont have to use a credit cad? they've got them for WOW and FFXI...

edit button exists for one reason and one reason only- to stop people from making triple posts >.>
on BB, you dont have to enter credit card details to get the free trial, but there are no pre paid game cards you can use. ask someone who has got a credit card or whatever to buy you a HL.

my sister has one but she's a biatch and wont let me use it... i'll have to convince her somehow.... any ideas?
oh and on the BB thing, it says that i do gotta enter credit card details before i get the free trial.... did i do something wrong?
