Playing a Force - Beat X500 - 18-10-2006 Well, I just got on the Beta again (Live is back up, Beta still works ) and I thought I'd start a new Force character because I've never used one before. And my first thoughts are... "Wow". They have superior attack power, and the new Technics (Game spells Techniques like that :S) are so awesome. I have a Wandra with LV2 Zonde linked - Zonde took ages to level up compared to Foie - and it kicks so much ass. Oh, I picked a Male Newman Force, he looks very stylish ![]() Also, I dont know if its random, but compared to the Hunter Human I was using my Luck is way more than the Hunter's. The little glowy thing next to my name is now orange and I've found 3 Rares during my first 2 missions (Linear Line Decoration, Stelnium (rare metal for Synthesis) and something else I cant remember). All in all, I'm really enjoying playing as a Force and It's definately swayed me from picking a Hunter again for a while anyway. Playing a Force - Darkwolf30 - 18-10-2006 Yea i found a force was really strong at the start and keeps getting stronger as you go along and getting new spells is fun. (yours is probably better because i was in jp version and couldn't read what spells i was using )
Playing a Force - pink - 18-10-2006 The beast I'll be making is going to be a combination of Force and Hunter... it won't work as well, but it'll probably still be fluent. Playing a Force - RebelMaren - 18-10-2006 From what I heard, the luck randomly changes every day, and it's given out to people based on the race and such like, so that means that all the male newmen had good luck at that time. Glad to hear you were amongst the lucky once to have good luck during the beta (That sentence makes me cringe) I'll be making a Female Newman Force, she'll not be my first character though so I don't think I'll be playing as her for a good while. Playing a Force - Moonwraith - 18-10-2006 Forces aren't my thing so if I do play as one it'll be some sort of hybrid (Wartechter, Guntechter) or levelling Force so I can use said classes. Still, they are very powerful, and when the buff/debuff Technics are released they will become even more useful. Playing a Force - pink - 18-10-2006 Just as long as they're not unbalanced... there's been misbalances in every version of PSO yet. (Hunters in v2, Rangers in v3) With possible exception to Blue Burst since I do not have enough experience with that to pass judgement on it. I already know 3 of the characters I'll be making... so we shall see what happens. Playing a Force - Darkwolf30 - 18-10-2006 Forces are strong to start but they are kind of expensive. And i already know 2 characters im making and 1 of the characters name.
Playing a Force - RebelMaren - 18-10-2006 Personally I think Rangers are the new 'Money Sink' characters. Forces are cheaper now, although this is from very limited experience of bing a Force in PSU Only tried it for a few levels, and that was in Extra Mode
Playing a Force - Darkwolf30 - 18-10-2006 force isn't bad and i didn't find my ranger that expensive considering i changed from hunter at level 25. Playing a Force - Cye Zero - 19-10-2006 I actually like the force class alot better than the others. They're alot harder to use than their counterparts. Plus if your not carefull in battles then you'll end up like B.T. from dot hack//sign:S ....DEAD. |
