I can set it up with my WiFi adapter, but my computer doesn't have a high speed USB port. So if I set it up, it will work at a reduced speed. Will it harm the online play speed that much?....Or should I forget about it? I want to play Mario Kart with you guys...

I searched for WiFi acess points around my house as well, I have two, and only one of those will support DS....So....How can I hack a WEP key and who can get me one?

Uhhh... if you're asking how to hack into SOMEONE ELSE'S wireless network... then you're asking how to do something illegal which is highly frowned upon.

I don't see why your USB adapter wouldn't work... just plug it in so the software is running and connect to it. I've had problems with the things before, so hopefully it'll work... I've never had a problem with a wireless router, but the adapter never works anymore for me.

Internet: half a meg/second. USB 1.1 transfer rate (the slower one):1.5 meg/second. WIN!!! (that means yes, you can use wi-fi with a low speed USB- you'll be fine)

Okay, well I could just use my WiFi adapter...
No, the WEP key, I couldn't use. I'm not sure exactly who's it is. I'm sure one's my neighbor's and maybe the second one is too. We aren't close to our neighbors.

Secondly. I can't get on nintendowifi.com at my school. But ours is an open network. If I want to play from school, I can, as the connection is open. I've assigned an auto IP for one of my settings, and used one of the laptops IP address here I keep getting on both the 52201 error. And I don't know why, as the setup from my friend's house, and the school was exactly the same. Other than he gave me his WEP key, and the school doesn't require one. I don't see what the problem is. But seeing as my mom will be off work all this week, I'll set it up after school today.

Maybe I'll see you today. I just want that adapter to work right. Knowing my computer it won't. One other question: If I use that USB adapater, can I leave it plugged into the back of the computer at all times? Do I have to initiate the software each time I play online?

It's thoughts like that that are one of the base reasons for why there is so much crime these days... I know I'm not innocent either... but just don't ask for illegal things around here... it doesn't bode well.

It's not a violation of terms of the site...so meh. =/ I already asked a friend of mine how to do it, but it costs more money than it's worth.

TBH, i think as long as you aren't on it incessantly and you aren't downloading porn or something illegal, that is a whole lot better than hogging their net and performing illegal activities on it. Still not right, but not tremendously wrong.



The reason you can't get on at your school is because it probably has a thing where you need to register your mac address with the school network before i will let you connect.
