How would i go about getting a Game ID and Password for only 2 weeks. I don't want to give them a credit card number, since i don't even have one.
I know it's way too late to do the beta thing, but is there a way i could do this at all?

No matter what I do, I can't connect to the trial network edition of the game either.

Impossible. Register with a card and get your trial (2 weeks). If you decide you don't like the game by that point, cancel the subscription before your first billing date.
