Playing Multi Mode and ID's

I was just curious to know when playing multi mode on GC how does the drop rates work? Are the same when playing online? (Where whoever created the game's ID drop chart is used) or is it based some other way?

In multi-mode whoever player 1's section ID is will determine what gets dropped. This does not apply to battle mode and challenge mode.

And with GC, person that gets to it first gets the drop, and Cye is right
