hey ppl i was wonderin if any of u can help me get connected to xbx live i hav b/band just dont know how it all works

dunno how can i check? i know i have the same port in the bak of my pc as the one in the bak of my xbox

Yep thats probably your network card. You can also check by going to the device manager in windows control panel and looking at the Network Adapters section under the hardware menu.
