Isn't this a cheating method as it is tricking the game into doing something it isn't set to do?

Why not just hunt these items from random control tower enemies?

This trick is news to me, though I've heard some cracked out versions of it that were just really vague.. I think. Anyways, if it isn't a cheat then is it ok to try it out? :bandit:

Does the ring even make a difference, like is it powerful enough to give you an edge or should I just concentrate on lvling my chars? :bandit:

Yes, it is a very good shield. It is a hack however, so would make you illegit. If that doesn't bother you then just head over to vega and ask a friendly duper for one
