As far as I know, Shenmue 3 has no official release date and nobody has mentioned making it yet. Yu Suzuki apparantely hinted at something recently, but there really is very little known about this game or whether we will ever see it released.

I doubt it being compatible with live, unless they used a passport system like the one we saw in the original Shenmue.

I have no idea what the minimum speed for live is, but I would assume that something like 512 would be the benchmark. That is just a guess though, so I would suggest checking the Xbox-live website to find the correct answer.

I'm pretty sure a 128Kb would be ok. That's what I had and my PC games were fine on it. I guess it depends on how serious you are about having low ping.

Shenmue 3. Interesting. I thought/heard that they weren't going to be able to do it. Even before they were owned by Sammy. I heard Sammy aren't really into making 'niche' games that lose money. Sega is known for spending fortunes on games that necessairly don't do well commercially but are great in their own right. They think if something is worth doing, you might as well do it right. Which had led to great games like Shenmue .

there was a bit in CUBE magazine a while back saying that Yu Susuki had said S3 was under devolopment for an unspecified console probably with 1&2 included.

I heard some where that there wouldnt be a another shemue game because sega didn't have the money to spend on productions like that. Im glad to hear that they were wrong and there will be more games
