4 player might be more difficult because you have less space in your little screen, and you might miss something. And it might slow the frame rate down.
Ive tried 2 player and 3 player challenge. I got further in 2 player challenge lol.
By the way, once you complete a challenge mode level, can you go back to it. Eg get to level 3, and then quit and save and go back to the same level later?

you can go back and improve your time if you wish, then countinue from where you left off before. so if you got a-rank you could go back and boost your time up to s-rank later by redoing a few parts.

i played CM and beat it offline.
One my "IDEAS" of a good team (please correct me) is
-2 hunters, 1 ranger, 1 Force
-2 hunters, 2 Force
-1 Hunter, 1 ranger, 2 Force

the important thing is the kind of character, not as much whether you have a hunter or ranger or force. for example, a hucaseal wouldn't be much of a help in challenge because they aren't extremely strong and they don't have s/d, which would make a hunewearl a better choice.
