I think that the free Jack o' Lanterns was a gift for all the Japanese PSO players who had to upgrade from JP ver 1.0 to ver 1.1. I don't think they could take their chars across different versions, so ST made it so that all the ver 1.1 players got a free Jack o' Lantern when they made a new char. US and EU players can still get them, but only at Halloween from rare rappies online.

It's not a weapon. It's like a monomate in one way. You can use it and it opens up and deposits an item. It's the things that come out that you can use.
