he needs to beat Hard mode, not VHard. If hes looking for the Musashi then hes in Hard mode.

Oh, you're right. I didn't read the post right. I thought you said he needed to be in VH mines or ruins & he was saying he couldn't get to the ruins. Not that he couldn't beat them in Hard. I was confused. I apologize.

thats okay you made me read it again and i could see where you got confused.
Still the Secret Gear would probaly be the best frame you could get this early on.
