Hah hah what with his leaping Light-Slam I would have thought you would have realised! The energy he can discarge from lthat looks the same as that unleashed by dark-flow, to. Is it meant to be light? It looks like millions of grants light spears blasting to/from the ground.

I use a gun and stay away from him. Generally it's a Varista. Most of my characters seem to have one.

Although I'd prefer to use something meatier, I want to survive.

And I need the gun (or techs) for the first form.

Still, I suggest taking out the Gaels and Giels - that stops the instant kill attack I believe.

Yeah, theyre annoying. You can't kill the giant claws. I tend to use red handgun or twin phyco guns for olga, gets the job done.

Olga is a no-melee zone, for sure. Yes, bring a gun (everyone should carry a gun IMO). If you stay away and watch him, you'll see him preparing for his pilla-esque attack... unless you are WAY overleveled, you will not survive that attack, so don't try meleeing him. It will hit you only if you are close to him, OR if the Geils (little mine thingies that shock you) have surrounded you; they seem to be markers as to where he will strike with that attack. I usually pull up my R-Y menu so I won't lock onto them, then run away as fast as I can from those things... if you're not in thier little range, you're safe. Taking out the Gaels will help too, if only to reduce the number of targets you have to shoot at (half the problem is HITTING Flow with your gun because you're targeting something else half the time).

Taking out his snakes will help immensely. If I remember correctly, he needs them to do his most powerful attack.

[Semi off-topic] I've just become one of the first people to beat Vhard Olga on BB, go me! Big Grin

I finally got around to making it to Olga today and I got owned. I'm a lvl 41 HUmar and I made it thru the first attack but on the ground I did not stand a chance. I now know the few errors I made in that battle and next time I meet him he will not survive. Wink
