hmm this may be slightly confuzing so well try to bare with me here... ok we all know offline you can go threw the forest, caves, mines, ruins and then move up to the next difficulty but in multiplayer you can beat the final boss and not be promoted up, i was just wondering if you go threw that stuff online can you get promoted or not, and another question, with the missions online, can you do the that you can do offline as well... a quick example claiming a stake, or do you have to do it offline first then you can do it online 2 please... lemme know if you can thank you in advance.

No it doesn't unlock the levels you do online, offline. You beat Falz at Hard online/multiplayer, you will still have to beat Falz offline on hard to unlock v hard.
The offline quests are not online. ie Claiming a Stake does not appear online at all. They are two totally seperate sets of quests.
As a side note, online, you can only play what lvls you have unlocked offline. For example, you have beaten up to mines (you just can't find that last missing pillar. It's happened to us all
) on hard offline. You can only play up to mines online, on hard mode. You can't play on Ruins. Although, say you only play online, and you reach lvl 20. You can now play in hard mode, even if you haven't played a single thiing offline. But you can only play in forest, until you unlock more offline.

I also have a question-is it possible to do sea bed online at all, i have not done it offline yet but i'm level 69 but i only ever get to do forest-ruins online so does that mean i have to do more work offline first?

Yes you have to unlock VR Spaceship and CCA, to get to Seabed offline and online in Episode 2. Seabed is a very nice area, apart from going online, with 4 FOs (even one is enough :S), and water effects. -.-;. Slowdown in the extreme I can tell you. But you can find good rares there and it is very tough, especially online. I doubt anyone could manage Seabed themselves online without taking quite a beating. Even dupers with maxed stats! :S

Doing Seabed online isnt that hard, if ure playing with other people anyways, and if u play on normal its even easier!
U cud go through VR Spaceship n CCA 2 then play Seabed online, or u cud play with sum1 whos already unlocked it n play in their game, hehe! Like me, altho ive only dun it on normal! lol

Just to let you know, here are all the required levels that are needed to advance to the next difficulty Online:
Normal: Any character level
Hard: Level 20
V.Hard: Level 40
Ultimate: Level 80
