Nintendo DS Wi-Fi connection probs :(

I have A wireless router at home and my my DS finds it easy enough when searching for an access point, from here i've put in my WEP key correctly.
now if i choose to Auto obtain my ip address and dns it tells me it cannot connect, if i put in all of the necessay information myself it tell me its invalid, anyone help??

erm, is it on the list of routers supported? when you choose to connect you get a red padlock right?

try a totally manual one- manual setup, enter in everything (so WEP key, what itrs called, subnet mask, put auto obtain ip, or if that desont work put it in, and same for DNS. (make sure you use test connection, dont go onto 3rd step)

o eyah- it gives you codes if something screws up, have you tried them on nintywifi?

that is just so near my IP its worrying...

try that ip, no difference, but i changed my subnet mask to 0,0,0,0 and it wasnt invalid anymore, but could not connect, im thinking thats the prob.
EDIT: i changed the subnet mask and now it can connect to the router but not to the server, maybe a firewall blocking it.
