Help with SoB quest!

I played this quest the first time and got the guy his blue mineral and he gave me a god hand. Instead of collecting my meseta I just quite so that I can do that quest again, but when I give him the blue mineral again and ask for a gun he only gives me a storm cannon instead of supressed gun. How come I'm not getting any more rares from him cause I know I've heard of people collecting them from him multiple times.

its got an anti-multiple item thing on it... otherwise when you've done all the quests you can do it again and again and again
 if your not happy with what he's given you, reset the GC. if it saves, you've had it (i.e- your stuck with that)
