also, if they couldnt defeat him with a nuke, why can i kill him with a handgun? (yes, i have  )

Rare handgun... but if you mean the tier 1 handguns where it's a first level pistol then... you must've done that on Normal. I always thought it was the energy of Dark Falz being unsealed that caused the big explosion. That's why he wouldn't have an attack like that a second time.
