Can't Find Anything!! GRRRRRR!!!!

Well i know that this is a constant question here but i cannot find anything about it by searching the forums so i'll ask again:


Does stop playing the game for too long make you stop finding rares? Does item stack (not armor or weapon stack) on PSO I&II (not plus) make you sot pfinding rares? I'm playing for 10 hours and never found anything. Not even a PD!!!!

Maybe you're just unlucky?Sometimes you wait ages without finding anything,then in 5 minutes,you get loads.

So, stacking may not be the cause of my problems? I found something weird happening to me. I could not find regular ult armors (non rares) droping... But the weapons are droping the normal way. I find only lvl hard "armor" and "barriers" droping. This affects all of my chars. Not only one, but all of them.... That is why i think something is wrong... I can't go online, so i don't have any hacks on my list... just a few dupes...

My brother was doing this. He got rid of all the stacked crap he was carrying. Let's see if the game now returns my drop rates to normal. I'm angry 'cos when i played this very game on DC my console broke and i stoped playing for 6 months. When i got back, i could never find anything rare again... I thought the this might have happened on GC too because the game has the same bugs it used to have on DC...

That is why i'm worried. I have played with my char for about 15 hours this weekend and i have no stacked items and i could not find a single PD. I went to the Fake in Yellow quest in sarch for Rappy's Wings and got "air" instead... Oh my god... I think my char stagnated just like on DC :|

I put on a poll about the subject. Let's see what the people think. I'm working on a theory. I'll test it this weekend and post the results. If it works fine, i think it will prove that even when other char that is not yours in the same memcard is carrying stacked items you may not get anything rare untill he delete all stacked items he has...

Finally found something. To be able to find, look what i did:

1. Loaded my char.
2. Went to da bank and took all the mates, fluids and mizers i had and drop them. Including the ones i was carrying.
3. Quitted the game.
4. Loaded it again.
5. Went to the first room of the Quest Soul of Steel hoping to get my Baranz parts. In the first run, i found a Special Weapon(Gaebolg, trash), after 15 hours of gameplay without finding anything.... Maybe i got 0% drop 'cos my brother gave me some Moon atomizers he had stacked(i assume 3 or 4...) and i kept them with me, making the drops stop...
6. Did 20 runs to the first room of the quest and found 10 red items, but still no Baranz Parts. But that made me feel more confident i would find them soon. In fact i thought i might have gotten it once 'cos when i Killed Baranz, it dorpped a red box, but when i got it, it was a PD ^^!

I know you'd say: This is jus a speculation... a coincidence. There are thousands of forum posts and topics about this subject... Almost all of them are lies... But as i said, i'm trying to make a study here. And you are welcome to help me prove it. To anyone who is interested, i thank you!
