ver.2 complete guide to ultimate
#1
Characther advantages and disavantages:

HUmar and HUnewearl
Both have a average atp, but thanks to techs like shifta or zalure the criatures can be defeated easily, if the atp is still not enouph they can use techs to help defeat the criatures, but do not expect miracles.

HUcast
With the highest atp and hp they can survive longer and probably they are the only ones that can do a decent damage to the creatures in the beguining

RAmar
They can hit the creatures, but the damage will be low or 0, but they can use techs like shifta or zalure wich for this char is essential due to the low atp

RAcast and RAcaseal
Probably the hardest characthers to play on ultimate, the lack of power and tecks makes them very difficult to handle, but the other stats may be usefull when you try to evade or hit the creatures

Forces
The easiest characthers to play in ultimate, the low atp and ata makes the magic the only solution, the techs will do a decent damage, and sice ultimate mode has tons of tech disks, the power will increase drasticly

Gameplay:

-HUNTERS-

Preparatives:
Hunters have a high atp but still a low ata to hit the creatures so mechs or any gun is out of the question, a good weapon may be a double saber of some sort with 30% native or more, if you don’t have, then just use a good atp weapon with percents.
Get a good armor like ultimate frame with 4 slots, they can be found on vhard ruins and echange all units with god powers, if you have god abilities go to the bank and deposit them (you will need them when the atp reach the limit), also on hard mines or vhard mines you should look for a mag and increase the atp to the max you can, I recommend at least 120 pow on the mag, good photon blasts and abilities can also help.

Forest
If you are a tech user then aply shifta/deband/jellen/zalure at all time. I recommend doing the first 3 quests before going for the real thing, if you are near lvl 100 or above, and you feel confident then try doing forest but not the boss, you should look for a red handgun or a red saber/ancient saber (depends on id), these weapons have a high ata and atp so these should be equipped as soon you find them because they can be found easily, after obtaining these the boss will be easier, use support techs and manage to control your foot work because running is something that you will need or else you will be frizzed.

Caves
The weapons you found on forest can still be usefull in this zone, some ids can get the red dagger wich great for caves and if you want to improve your gameplay in the forest, this weapon may help, also every id (exept for whitill) can find the red sword wich has an amazing atp and an average ata, both weapons are rarer the the red handgun but they can be found.
Caves is a long and dangerous place, so prepare your self with support items, be aware of ob lilies and run when needed.
The boss is way more difficult to kill, the red sword would be nice to use, if not, then use any other weapon, this boss attacks faster then on vhard and has very powerfull attacks so avoiding the attacks is essential, be also extremely careful with the beam attack.

Mines
This zone will be the hardest yet, due to the higher hp and extremely high dfp, your weapons will do a very low damage, so low that you will say that it is a lost cause.
To overcome this proble you have 2 choices, if you are a EU or JP player go online and ask or gain an s-rank, if you want to play offline just try to find the previous weapons with 25% or more, an red hangun with 40% can easily take the job since these creatures will not fall down as in other difficulties, so close combat is hard especially because the creatures come in group.
The exp is very good, but it is also hard to get it.
As for the boss, if you are a tech user then use a tech like rabarta on the monitors and a weapon on the pillars, as for vol opt ver.2 him self the red sword with % can be usefull to hit several spots, try and avoid the attacks that he makes, for the missiles, take them and cure, for the pressing pillar , just run around, for the radom pressing pillar, go close to vol opt and attack (the pillar wont hit you) as for the mazimun attack, run in small circles to avoid the attack, if you get hitted, just make sure you have enouph hp to survive.

Ruins
The creatures have insane stats, dfp is the hardest to overcome, but the atp will make your char hit the ground very hard.
Every id (exept for redria) can fin a common weapon called imperial pick, this weapon has an incredibly high ata, so using hard attacks on forest or caves can be done a lot more often, the atp is lower expecialy because the grinder is only +20, but if you happen to find a % imperial pick then your attack power will be great, so the dfp problem is out.
About the atp, heal whenever needed, some hits even with a good shield and armor will do for sure more the 800, creatures will come in groups so whenever you become traped, attack only one creature, if you use a tech the creatures will attack all at the same time doing an instand death, use the red handgun on creatures like delsaber, indi belra, bulclaw and death bringer, this on expecialy can deequip you weapon and make 1400 damage with one attack.
Basicly every room is easy when there is only 1 tipe of creature, but if you find rooms with mixed creatures, things can get very difficult.
As for the boss you can use perfect resist units or equip a sacred guard if you like, for the darvants use the red handun or any good gun, for the 1st form, always attack and heal when needen, for the 2nd form be aware that he is very fast and after the rapoie/rabarta attack he calls out 3 darvants to do a simultaneous attack doing extreme damage, so run after the attacks and heal (even if the rafoie blast does 100 damage).
For the last phase every thing is the same exept for 2 thing, the megid attack can be avoided, but if it hits you then you are probably dead, and the blue balls attack can follow you, if you take a hit then cure instantly, if you do not heal you will get hitted again, the only way to survive for sure is having more then 1500 hp.
After dalk falz, enjoy the red ring rico ending.

-RANGERS-

Preparatives:
Rangers have a very weak attack power, but due to the high attack accuracy they have a lot more choice of weapons when entering ultimate, so just chose a good gun with at least 35% native.
Get a good armor like ultimate frame with 4 slots, they can be found on vhard ruins and echange all units with god powers, if you have god abilities go to the bank and deposit them (you will need them when the atp reach the limit), also on hard mines or vhard mines you should look for a mag and increase the atp to the max you can, I recommend at least 130 pow on the mag, good photon blasts and abilities can also help.

Caves
The weapons you found on forest can still be usefull in this zone, try grinder them fast or you attack power will be low compared with the high defense of the creatures.

To overcome this problem you have 2 choices, if you are a EU or JP player go online and ask or gain an s-rank needle or any other usefull s-rank , if you want to play offline just try to find the previous weapons with 35% or more, an red handgun with 40% can make the job easier since these creatures will not fall down as in other difficulties.
As for the boss, if you are a tech user then use a tech like rabarta on the monitors and a weapon on the pillars, as for vol opt ver.2 him self use an s-rank needle if you have one , try and avoid the attacks that he makes, for the missiles, take them and cure, for the pressing pillar , just run around, for the radom pressing pillar, go close to vol opt and attack (the pillar wont hit you) as for the mazimun attack, run in small circles to avoid the attack, if you get hitted, just make sure you have enouph hp to survive.

Ruins
Chars with the id viridian/skyly/purplenum/redria/yellowboze should look for the Yasminkov 2000H, this weapon is similar to the red handgun so it might come in a good time.

After dalk falz, enjoy the red ring rico ending.

-FORCES-

Preparatives:
Low atp and ata makes the attack damage 0, but forces can use techs wich can do for sure an acceptable damage, equip a club of laconium or if you like you can go to the shops to buy rares.
Get a good armor like ultimate frame with 4 slots, they can be found on vhard ruins and echange all units with god mind, also on hard mines or vhard mines you should look for a mag and increase the mind to the max you can, I recommend at least 120 mind on the mag, good photon blasts and abilities can also help.

Forest
I recommend doing the first 3 quests before going for the real thing to determine the weakness of the criatures, try doing forest but not the boss, you should look for a red handgun and high lvl techdisks, on the boss use rapoie and manage to control your foot work or else you will get freezed.

Caves
Look for tech disks and for some wands like technical crozier.
Caves is a long and dangerous place, so prepare your self with support items, be aware of ob lilies and run when needed.
The boss has insane resistances so try and develop electric techs to the max you can.
This boss attacks faster then on vhard and has very powerfull attacks so avoiding the attacks is essential, be also extremely careful with the beam attack.

Mines
Depending on id you can get the twinkle star or the submit moon, tanks to high lvl tech disks here and the red handgun/submit moon you will be able to meele in the forest but do not expect to be better then hunters, in mines fire techs must be raised, you can also find the magical piece or then go online and ask for a good force cane.
As for the boss use on the 1st phase a hit all tech like rabarta and on the 2nd phase use ice techs or even grats since the resistance is lower then the other ones, for the missiles, take them and cure, for the pressing pillar , just run around, for the radom pressing pillar, go close to vol opt and attack (the pillar wont hit you) as for the mazimun attack, run in small circles to avoid the attack, if you get hitted, just make sure you have enouph hp to survive.

Ruins
The creatures have insane stats, dfp is the hardest to overcome, but the atp will make your char hit the ground very hard.
The only advice I can give you is to find lvl 30 tech disks if you can, after that no more can be done
As for the boss you can use perfect resist units, for the darvants use barta or something else like gifoie, for the 1st form use zonde, always attack and heal when needen, for the 2nd form be aware that he is very fast and after the rapoie/rabarta attack he calls out 3 darvants to do a simultaneous attack doing extreme damage, so run after the attacks and heal (even if the rafoie blast does 100 damage).
Use barta on 2nd phase
For the last phase every thing is the same exept for 2 thing, the megid attack can be avoided, but if it hits you then you are probably dead, and the blue balls attack can follow you, if you take a hit then cure instantly, if you do not heal you will get hitted again, the only way to survive for sure is having more then 1500 hp.

This is a horrible guide and is no way indicative of how to beat Ultimate. Most of it is "If, or "Go find" type advise. That's all it is: advice.

That's how I first went through the game and I still hadn't beat Ultimate ruins with my HUney by level 126, when my game corrupted. 120 Power on all hunter's mags? Maybe just the Casts. But at least 50+ Dex will be needed on the Humar/newearl. And even some defense if it's your first play through. Each character has a guide and equipment suggestion. That's better than this guide by far.

Not saying this guide is bad....no, wait, I am. I'm just saying any n00b, who would be looking for this type of info, will discover from this guide the same thing they've been doing the whole time.

I have drop information, enemy stats and char stats of ver.2, i can advice the players and give early advice for example, before defeating the sil dragon.
Yes you can try and find for example the monkey king bar, but it is far to rare to include in my faq, i have experience, knowledge, information, this is my way to help ver.2 players, because for me unfortunatly i realized that ultimate was hard too late.
Play ver.2 and then make a comment
