with the modem or broadband adapter you can go into UK, USA and Japanese server. it is pretty reliable but it is the only way to go if you use dial up. it cost $8.95 a month to play online

If your computer has modem, you get modem
If your computer has broadband, you get braodband
Both are $8.95 a month, and you can go into every ship, block and lobby
Nothings free sadly...
Also they are japanese, not japs... plz don't call 'em that...

I think the 'official', if you can call it that, abbreviation is JPN.
Just thought I'd tell you all.

You get 30 days free on your HL at first, this lets you test out online and how it runs on your connection. If you fell everything is ok and you can play the game like you do then when your HL runs out of time you can purchase a new HL for £5.99. You can do this on your GC by selecting "HOME PAGE" or by going to
http://www.playsega.com; itâs exactly the same as selecting "HOME PAGE" just that itâs on your PC. As for the servers, you can access and server depending on your GC region. JP players can access more JP ships than someone from the EU if you get what I mean. Normal ISP connection charges apply to PSO and no extra charge is executed except your HL. PSO was made to run on 56K so it should work perfectly, BBA is just for people with lots of money and big cars

.
Any questions?
