2 - what SS rank do you mean, are you talking about TTF quest?

DDWBP isn't a quest you can get ranked on. Only Challenge mode, TTF, and TLH are "ranked" I believe.

okay. the guide I read said you needed to get an ss rank to get certain items. and hwile we're on the topic what do you have to beat TTF in in order to get an s rank? (I know you can't get s rank weapons)

Wait, srank weapons are the ones you get at challenge mode, it's different.

TTF is like a combat simulator, time, kills and deaths affect the final rank.
If you play it and if you get ss rank you get a purple ring, after that you get 10 star atomizers since you can only get 1 purple ring per char.

ss rank can be obtained under 2 situations:
- minimun kill, clear quest under 60 minutes, no deaths
- maximun kill, clear quest under 60 minutes, no deaths

Blue Burst
You can get the Black Ring on Very Hard/Ult if you achieve a Minimum Kill SS-Rank rating. If you achieve a Maximum Kill SS-Rank rating, you'll get the Purple Ring. You can only get one copy of each ring per character per difficulty.


Ep 1 & 2 version
You can get a purple ring in this quest if you achieve SS rank. You can only get 1 purple ring per character. If that character already has a purple ring, you will get 10 star atomizers instead.

This quest is broken up into 4 levels: Forest 2, Caves 3, Mines 2 and Ruins 3.

Talk to the principal at the end of the quest. Your will be given a Rank at the end. Ranks are: C, B, A, S, SS Your rank is based upon the following factors:

Time
Number of times killed
Number of enemies killed

SS Purple Ring Ult, V. Hard, ?
S 5 star Atomizers Ult ?
A meseta ?, Normal

Purple Ring is awarded via SS-ranking TTF on Ultimate difficulty. No deaths. Kills don't really matter, but it has to be in the area to SS it.
