Youre pretty much unbeatable once u have magus sisters untill u meet penance. I dont tend to summon them much. My aurons single attack takes off more!
My fav summon is Ixion.

Ifrit has been my favourite summon throughout all of the final fantasy games, even though he is usually the first summon you obtain and therefore the weakest, he is still cool
Nights of the round on FF7 and Diablo on FF8 are cool too.

Yojimbo Rules. I remember when i was colecting the parts to create celestial (SP?) weapons. One part is behind dark bahamut >_<. I dident know so i just walked it.

That is pretty much correct. If you summon them against Ultima Buster and most monsters of the Battle Arena, they are pretty much powerful, and mostly cause 99,999 damage with each blow. Against Penance, I summon them with a Grand Summon, and release Delta Attack against Penace, then they eventually are killed by his Obliteration attack.
Always kick some ass and never give up a battle. (Even if you are in deep @~/!)!!
