you have to do a series of quests in the right order, so it's best to finish all the quests in normal first. I don't know the exact quests you have to do so if you haven't already, do all the quests now.

how do you get the frying pan

You need to collect weapons emblems from npc's in certain quests and then take them to someone in another quest, you need to complete all of the quests because you have to do one of them twice. Anyway theres a guide on the main site.

Its a huge side quest
Its not that great

It sucks, its not really fun to look at either. It took a lot of work, it's special is TP, use a Double Saber if yo want TP.
