The police you mentioned, Fabo, would be his army that I mentioned. Wait... now I come to think about it the army would be for delaing with monsters... police would have the ability to disconnect hackers. And leader could actually be a very good position to play as considering you would have complete monarchy for the whole month that your the leader. But the leader can also be killed. We would make it so that if the load (majority) of players do not like the leader. They can gather around say.... 1000 per server? hmm... gather atleast 501 followers and that would allow the leader to be assasinated and therefore causing a new election. If the leader was an itelligent AI there'd be no need for teh leader position.

Yeah i see what you mean and it would work better then my idea of a human leader. you would still need a human "police" force because AIs cant do it that well. any way you caould have a job and be paid for the hours you work at it. some jobs would be too difficult for newbs and they would pay more then the simpler jobs. youre character would also age or as you lvled up you would grow older untill your stats ,instead of rising, start to go down till there is almost nothing left

I dunno about stats going down.. that would call away lots of players.... but yeah like you could enroll in the army/police and the human leader would decide your pay for it. You could run errands for shops etc.

Ya slash off the getting older but another of my ideas is to have to have alot of people online all the time to keep it going. with the army,police,and normal players the the PSO "world" would really seem like a world. the experiecnce of the world would make the game seem more fun.
You might also be able to "create" a business, have people go out to find things and then sell them to other players for a profit. It could be alot of fun, you coulld set up a little stall and you could go from a cpouple of people to alot of people under you and watch you wealth grow as you business grows
