Actually even HUmar with 50% hit Charge Vulcs cannot deal more damage than a Ranger with GM, only HUcast can. But if you take into account Ranger's ATA vs HUcast's ATA, and factor in odds of missing, then Ranger with GM is even more powerful...

However, with the hit percent of charge vulcans the racast can do soft special special, which does more damage than the guld milla. It all depends on the combos you actually do!
Whereas the guld milla can do hard hard hard, the special of the charge more than makes up for that. I have never made a guld milla, however I have tried this out on my friends racast. He can do soft, hard, hard with the guld milla. However, he can do soft, special, special with teh charge vulcans with 50% hit, this does more damage than the guld milla attack.
As I said, it depends on the combo you actually do with the weapon. Which is why I believe the charge vulcans and guld millas are just as good as each other. Without the 50hit on the vulcans, the GM would be better, but it isnt.
(btw, if a hucast is high enough, the ATA is not a problem. My hucast can hit the charge attack without any trouble at all. In the case of the dragon boss where he actually sits stationary, my hucast can actually do special, special, special without hardly missing. I have been in games with rangers with guld millas and my hucast with his charge vulcans beat the hell out of the rangers in terms of damage.... but as you said, this is a forum about rangers!)
