I've played PS4 for a while and saw these things you showed. I was told that there is a boss in one of the old games that is called Dark Falz, just like the little Red Ring Rico from PSO... poor girl... heheheheheh. I once saw a magazine with pictures from a japanese release of PS4 that showed a Grass Assassin being called Grass Assassin instead of Locusta as you showed...
Oh and i forgot! There is a monstr called Centaur on PS4 that is actually PSO's Chaos Bringer...
Name: Khuzzonnyush. Type: Ramar. LV: 101. Mag: Varaha. SecID: Yb. Ver: PSOv2 DC
Name: Mokkreah. Type: Ramarl. Lv:145. Mags: Varaha. SecID: Yb. Ver: Ep. I&II GC
OWNED!! again hehehheheheh

The Grass Assassin is a bigger version of a Locusta. The Locusta is the basic version.
Ha ha, I'm amazed that this is actually the first thread I remember that looks back at all of the early games. (The banner in my signature is created from characters from them!)
Dark Falz actually features in all four of the basic series, although I'm not sure about Gaiden or Adventure. It is called DARKFALZ in PSI, Dark Force in PSII, Dark Force in PSIII and Dark Falz in PSIV. Incidentally, the Prophallus has an almnost identical graphic to the Dark Falz of PSI. Notably, it's not Rico in any of the games. I can explain further, but there'd be spoilers aplenty.
Monomates were introduced in PSII - in PSI you were healed with Cola and Burgers. You can get Star Mist and Moon Dew in PSII and Star Atomizers, Moon Atomizers and Sol Atomizers in PSIV. You can get Antidotes in PSIII.
It is thought that Elysion is similar to Elsydeon, but the difference is too great for that to be likely. The Psycho Wand features in PSIV and PSO; in PSIV it is plot-necessary. Rika's Claw is taken from PSIV, although it never appears in the game. Likewise, Nei's Claw is taken from PSII.
Enemy names are closest to PSO in PSIV, although the enemy designs are different. For example, the Chaos Sorcerer is a humanoid in PSIV.
There are several themes running through these series. The Profound Darkness from PSIV may be Amplum Umbra in PSO Ep3. There are a lot of references to mythology throughout, especially Greek. Medusa is a boss creature in PSI; Castor and Pollux get a sex change for PSO Ep3. Noah also features in PSI.
We get the theme of computer AI domination in PSII, PSIV and PSO (mostly Ep2).
Interestingly enough, the early series evolves towards the PSO setting - in PSIII, androids can cast techniques, but by PSIV they cannot. They make a vast intellectual improvement from the simplistic ROBOTCOPS of PSI.
Strong women are also a recurrent theme. It is Alis in PSI that avenges her brother's death and saves the Algo system from tyranny. In PSII, Nei is stubborn, but it is the bad girls here that show strength - both Neifirst and Mother Brain. PSIII has slightly weaker women, except Sari and Laya (older). PSIV has the strong Alys.
The races are also apparent. Numans have their name altered to Newmans, but are otherwise the same. Humans are common, and androids are still around, but the Espers seem to have disappeared. Perhaps they never left Dezoris.
That's just the start...

Again, the status effects are common (from PSII onwards). I forgot the name of DF in PSIV, I assumed that it was Falz. Falz is only in PSI and PSO then...
Do you own the game physically, or have you played an emulator? I'm guessing the latter due to the screenshots.
