"Summons do not get stronger the more you use them." wrong, each spell (and i forget hoe to phrase this...) basically, each time a spell goes up a level, it imporves, such as does more damage, or is cheaperr ec, same as characters, so meh!

Actually you just misunderstood, of course spells get stronger each time they go up a level, but they do not get stronger each time you use them. If you used Bolt in every battle from the beginning it would not be stronger each and every time.

same goes with magic like cure it just recovers more and limit breaks get stronger when you lv up as do normal attacks.

Again a misunderstanding. Somebody (can't remember) said that magic gets stronger every time it is used. You are saying it gets stronger whenever you level up. Of course it gets stronger when you level up, your character's magic stat. probably goes up. Magic does not and never will get stronger just by using it.

The only thing, i know of that increases in damage the more you use it, was Vincent's last weapon, of which i cannot remember name

That's right, can't remember it but I think it's Death Penalty from Lucretia. The more you kill the stronger it gets. If you take the time Vincent can become incredible. Everybody else just does damage relevant to their HP with their Ultimate Weapons.

they earn AP simply by being equipped. Yes though, most Ultimate Weapons do damage around your current HP, not max, current. Good when you've got 9999HP, bad when you've just been struck dumb and are down to 1 HP. Also, Ultimate Weapons earn no AP for the equipped materia. I don't use them often for that purpose.

HP that you have? thats not so grt, think a lot of curewould be involved if I got those lol, I got my team sort of set up now, I got Cloud, barret, and then Cid or Cait Sith, I'm going with Cid at the mo cos i just unlocked him, which one do u think?

Personally I go with Cid, Tifa and Cloud. Tifa is because her limit is seven hits, some characters have multi-hit but I just don't like Barret. Too often I see people choose Cloud, Barret and RedXIII just because they're strong men, you need magic too.
I would go with Cid.
