There are rumors everywhere in PSO that the servers are going to be closed this fall so they can be used to support PSU. Does anyone know if this is true?
My Xbox Live Gamertag is SilentShadow13.

There hasn't been any official word from Sonic Team of Japan regarding Phantasy Star Online's Xbox Live upcoming status, but since all the servers are completely split to their local regions, the people you'd probabily need to contact for comment are either SEGA of Europe or Microsoft/Xbox Europe (Unless you're American in which case, SEGA of America & Xbox respectively!). I don't know where you'd go for updates concerning Xbox PSO from Sonic Team, so i can't help you unforts!
Personally though i haven't heard anything on the matter.

I'm a damn American, sadly...
I sure hope that the servers aren't going to be down, because I just started a new character! Of course, this could just be the damn *CRIP* clan at it again... Stupid hackers always stealing my rares...

Hehe, well it still doesn't sound as if the servers are going anywhere quite yet. If Sonic Team removed PSO's Xbox Live servers, then they'd have to contact Microsoft and they would both make such an announcement of the fact they're discontinuing the service, which i can't see happening anytime soon. Of course doing such an action would take out all regions ST servers at the sametime, so Sonic Team of Japan would thereby also have to make an announcement of which i regularly check.
Is it true though that you guys are still stuck on Christmas Decorations for the Lobbies?! :S

Sega dont actually run the xbox pso servers theyre shared by ms and sega as their xbox only (ms abit protective of live) unlikely they would close anytime soon why close when people still pay money lol

And yes, the servers are stuck on Christmas... Jingle Bells in the lobby all day long... Oh, the humanity! There are also trees and wreaths on Pioneer 2, and the quests haven't been updated either, we still have the quest where the kids are making out in the bushes half the time. (Scary stuff, dude...)

Jingle Bells 24/7? Ouch... I'm quite sure it wouldn't take them 10 seconds to change that :S |
