Photon Drops

Umm I know this might sound like a noobish question to ask but umm.

I heard that if you get 50 photon drops you can convert it into one of the strongest weapons in the game ? Is that so ?

Only got a measly 10 collected so far so I was just figuring on asking before it gets to redicoulous.

You can trade them in on some online quest for stuff, i think.

yes, you can echange for items online, 1 of those items can add % to your weapons, others are like magic water and stuff like that.

Also my friend wanted me to ask about this item called a photon crystal ?

He was curious if you can find them and or even if they excist and if they do how can ya find them.

=(^_^)= Anyhow, I wish you could use them offline toos cause I got a nice set of rippers+9 with a like a 20% or more on almost every critter type (execpt machines...) and a hit % increase. =(^_^)= would be fun to soup it up.

photon crystals are exclusive to Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst, and are used in a quest which gives you all sorts of prizes for completing. they are also the link to Episode 3, as the start of transferring stuff to card form.

1 photon sphere (bought for 97 odd PD's) will give you a 30% boost to 1 area of a weapon.

the 50 PD's for the most powerful item thing isnt true, though. 50 PD's will get you a photon booster, which will upgrade a weapon to a different weapon.

Keep them anyway, though. That way, if you DO ever get online, you have a little stash of them to use.
