Disgaea 2

Does anyone know if this is a good game? I've played the first one and it was great but I want to know if this will be as good as the first or is this a game that needs to go with E.T. if you know what I mean.

It seems to have been well-received so far. I've only just begun Disgaea, and though great, it is a little dauntingly huge.
