I don't think techno is a form of music in any sense really and should only be listened to in the event of having popped some "X" and are wearing hundreds upon hundreds of glowsticks plastered onto your body.

Metal is very good, yes, but that's kinda lame to place a big stamp on the genre as a whole like that, makes you seem small minded, just to let you know. However, we're all entitled to our own opinions.
