Well my suggestion is like everyone else has stated use a balance of Power and Dex, not mind and def. My Ramar's Defense was 800+ (no materials) with his deband 15 (when he was ALIVE ;.; ) and only had Holiness armor on. So don't sweat the defense, focus on your accuracy. Ramars can be a bit slid...since they DO have the highest accuracy. But for Racasts and things of that nature, Dex is essential. My Pushan's Stats go something like this (or near it, im at school and I have no direct access to my Pushan >.< )

Pow:110
Dex: 56
Mind: 15
Since Dex+Mind=Def+Pow when it evolved (or however Pushans are made on Redrias...o.o), it evolved! Yay Pushan! n_n
