I watched X/1999 (the series) a few months back and I can safely say I think it's the best anime I've ever seen (right next to Kenshin). I would suggest you all watch it, BUT DON'T WATCH THE MOVIE!!! I wouldn't put that suffering on anyone, and I mean anyone. What about the rest of you?

i tend to agree with sean on how good it is, but then again you guys knew that as ive mentioned it many times before. Its definitely worth the watch, all 8 discs are out here in America too. But you can always order an import from Hong Kong on Ebay.

Just FYI everyone else other than lionheart and the joe, my name is Sean. Lionheart is correct saying that the series is available here in the states and you can easily obtain the entire series for under $30 off of EBAY. It IS a Hong Kong release, so it's not the best quality, but if you buy the original 8-disc version you'll pay over $210. It's worth saving $180.

yeah it gets pretty expensive with the American releases. They gouge you buy selling each disk at $20-$30 and only have 3-4 eps per disk. That goes for almost any anime series though, not just X.
