Help!
#1
Hi, I've been playing PSO offline for a while now...Still looking for a broadband adapter. Anyways, I have been feeding my greedy Mag for a long time now. It's reached lvl 186!! but besides the several transformations that it has made, I see no benefits at all in feeding him any longer...All the Photon blasts has been filled up when it became a Bhirava...After that, it changed to Kabanda and now it is a Nandin...Besides the cosmetic and numbers...what use is there?? Am I missing something? Oh, he mag chart in the site is just too confusing for me to understand....Any thoughts to spare guys??

You can keep feeding your mag and increase its stats up to lvl 200. Depending what type of mag is it and the stuff that you feed it with will affect certain stats. e.g. The greater a mags MIND the more MST you will gain when you have him/her/it equipped.

Your mag will evolve every 10 levels depending on what these stats are e.g. POW > MIND > DEX (power is greater than mind, mind is greater than dex).

Also when you die your mags synch decreases (this determines how fast your P.B bar charges up). So even when your mag is lvl200 and you die you will still need to feed it to boost the synch back up.

Your mag will evolve every 5 levels depending on what these stats are e.g. POW > MIND > DEX (power is greater than mind, mind is greater than dex).

The best I cld do is 120% sync and IQ 200. Also does it make any difference if I changed my mag from say, a Bhirava to a Nandin bearing in mind all the photon blasts slots have been filled...

The other thing is how much can I lvl up the 4 stats (Def, Pow, Dex, Mind?) It's in the 50's now...is there a limit to that?

Shd I start feeding a new mag to get different attributes? I'm tired of the Pilla, Farlla, and Golla Photon Blasts...starting new shd give me new ones?

Thanks a lot for the time!

120 synch and 200 iq is the max yea. Its the stats that change the look of a mag and not the mag that changes the stats. Changing a mag from Bhirava to Nandin would mean that you have fed it items and altered its stats to match the requirements for a different evolution.

You can have 3 photon blasts and these will be the first three that your mag learns and it wont learn or replace them with new ones. The best way to get certain PBs is to plan which ones you want before hand and then feed your mag to get it to evolve into a mag that has the specific PB you want. Does this make sense? I recommend having another look at the mag tables and also check out Junon's Sato mag guide (it has a good walkthrough on how to get the best PBs).

He's right, photon blasts aren't the only benefits to mags. And let's face it, Photon Blasts are pretty useless on ultimate except for Mylla and Yulla. And even if you don't have that, there are still stats to amke you more powerfull, and some help more then others. Note: Mag increase your base points (Points in Parentheses) and some help more than others as shown here:

Def - For every level up in power your base atp points raise by 1
Power - For every level up in power your base atp points rise by 2
Dex - For ever 2 level ups in dex your base ata points raise by 1
Mind - For every lvl up in mind you base mst points raise by 2

MAGs are sooo useful! I'd be nowhere without them! They look pretty cool too!
