Most ISPs will want you to pay for another connection because they wouldn't want you leeching off the same line for free.

Now that is mean. But then again if u dont contact them ull neva no in the first place, and if they do try n charge u, u either have 2 live with it, or change! But they may also say, "Its ok we are compatible with the Nintendo gamecube online, heres what u need to know, and we ofer no extra charge for the service" Just like mine did! :-)

Yes Portugal is on PlaySega. I had a look myself. Goto
http://www.playsega.com and click on the logo. Then click on the register button at the bottom. You should be taken to another screen where you select your country. Just select Portugal from the drop down box in the bottom right corner.

"leeching off another line"
Sorry am new to all this broadband lark....... but if I understand right, all you are saying is use the external BBD modem they give you for your PC and swap the cable from PC to GCN each time you wanna play?
Does it have to do with the ethernet out socket on the PC modems?
(Obviously you need the right cabels etc)

1) The isp's cant tell what you are connecting with. They cant tell the ethernet card on ur pc so they cant tell it on the gamecube.
2)The isp's will be compatable unless they require special software to connect e.g AOL webrowser etc.
3)PSO wud not work well with bandwidth restricted isp's if you only have so many megabites per month becasue of the transfer in pso it wud go quick.
4)The hunters fee goes to sega and pays for servers, extra content and profit of course

so its nothing to do with your isp.
5)If you phone ur isp and they recomend xbox ignore them as xbox has a dodgy deal to make them say that.
6)You must have an ethernet and not usb connecting for the BBA, most routers will work with the bba how ever there cud be problems if you link the gamecube to pc to share internet if it has a firewall.
Hope this helps if you need more info feel free to pm me
