im just wondering me and my cousin are gonna try and get our game cubes online.....but before we try anything, I was wondering how alive the game cube community is.

edit: i mean the episode 1 & 2 community

Depends what time you go online and where you go.

The European online servers have never really been that busy. The American servers can get quite busy during the nights, while Japanese servers are highly populated at peak time!

If you play on the american server during the day it's very slow and I'm always at work during the EU busy times so I don't know what the EU ships are like. But most dedicated players just go to the Japanese ships anyway, so they're always crowded.

If you look around at all of us (not including myself) here, you can see that the majority of players are playing online. As long as you pick your times to go online carefully, you should not have any sort of problem getting together with some other players and ... well, playing! However, you must be watchful for hackers..they're everywhere. Silly bastards.

Of course you can play alone online! There are certain online quests where you HAVE to be alone, no questions asked Challenge Mode and Battle Mode are exceptions where there must be at least 2 players in a game to start proper play.
