Did much better with higher cost cards, but couldn't get higher rank than B :$. It's little sister's fault, of course.

You can just take both controllers and use both of the characters. That way you don't need to worry about an ally NPC or a little sister messing up.

The Gi-Gues are the main problem... The Virus doesn't bother the majority of the cards I use (mostly 4 ATK cost and up). You try to hit a Gi-Gue and you do 14 damage with your Chaos Sorcerer's tech, then you get the damage back and both die...

Why can't you use a Defense AC and counter that?! WHY NOT?!

And the HUnewearl's God Shield Genbu mucks up my tech attacks! Although it tends to die to the Virus, or Tornado, or something...
