Can someone please check this?

I tried to use the pso.donut.dhs.org method of snapshot transfer, but it wasn't working. (You put that URL in as the proxy server address, and 8080 as the proxy port number, then it brings you to a site where you can email the snapshots to yourself.)

I had all the exact same settings as I did before, but this time, when I tried to get on to the site, the page just kept continuing to load until it finally said the URL could not be found... So then I tried to get onto Sega's site on my Cube, and that worked fine... just the pso.donut.dhs.org one didn't... so then I tried to go there on my computer, and I'm getting a "Cannot find server" message.

Can somebody else please check for me to see if it works for you and if it is just a problem on my side, or if the site is down completely?

I never got it to work for me, but I believe someone did. I'm not sure who. I have the network connections to make PSO Proxy work, so I do that instead. :ermm:

It seems to be people on PSOW are also having problems with it... Hmmm... that could be bad if it were to go down... considering I had only finished the mag pictures, and I still wanted to get pictures of my characters...

But it also seems to be that I may have the ability to use PSOProxy after all. Not because I have a router though... it's because my family has 2 computers and 2 ISP's. My personal computer in my bedroom still has dial-up internet until we get a router, and the family computer in the basement has DSL (and I mooch that from it so that my GC can get online to do the pso.dhs.donut.org thing). So if I set my proxy server address on my GC internet info file to my computer in my bedroom's IP address and have it on dial-up and running PSOProxy, I should be able to send my images from the snapshot file on my memory card to that computer... or atleast that's what Violet Skye said... I'm worried about the dial-up being slow though...

Once my family gets a wireless router, my computer's dial-up will be cancelled and the 2 computers and my GC will all be able to mooch off the same DSL at the same time.

Okay... I never managed to get the PSOProxy thing to work, but pso.donut.dhs.org is back online!

This can now be locked, or just left dead. Make less work for the Mods.

Well it WAS back online. I uploaded screenshots to it a couple days ago, but last night and this morning it has been down again. I guess the site isn't very reliable.
