Def Mag?

I am new to mags, but right now I am trying to make a Bana Mag as a Force. The charts here say it needs to have >44 Def, but that seems impossible at level 50: does that mean it evolves again after level 50 (other than special evolutions) or is there something else here I am not understanding, because my mags have never gotten up to level 50 before

MAGs can evolve anytime they want after level 35, depending on its stats. if you get your MAG's defense higher than level 44 and it evolves at level 50, you can always change it after that to whatever you see fit. there's just a set evolution at level 50 that forces your MAG to transform into one of the level 50 and up MAGs, but after that evolution its totally up to you whatever your MAG becomes!
