Not really, you could argue that it's up to the owner of the SHIP to take responsibilty for it, anyhow, all the lobby's and games are logged anyhow.

Ah yes, this is true. Well they would at lest have to look at the loggs at the end of each day to make sure no one is using isolation to cheat and avoid being handed over to ST by other players.

It'd be up to the owner of each ship to report any abnormalities, and the MY SHIP would only be active when the owner was online, this would minimise bandwidth use too.

That'd be covered as part of the ToS, that'd like saying they'd check your character to make sure you ain't using any illegal items, they'd trust you, foolishly, but they'd trust you.
