The Shield is helpful for piping Mils, 25 EDK is alot.
The Delsaber Combo is really good (stronger than Red Saber), but there's one problem.... IT'S A COMBO! So you have to use the Shield all the time, and with 0 E- FR, IC, and TH, anything will manage to freeze or shock you.

If you mean in terms of ATP yes a D-Saber Buster, but the innumerous flaws within the combo (bascially everything Whiteninja mentioned) drag it down, and the Red Saber has a Fill combo which beats lightning by a far-shot. The D-Saber Buster is only slightly better then a grinded Red Saber (especially good for casts).

The only bad Red Saber thing is the high grinder.... but the ATP makes up for it.
We must not also forget one of the best aspects of the Combo: the looks! The smoking Shield and curved Saber look awsome together.

I always thought the Red Saber looked better, considering it is a L. Cannon in red (and that awesome white tip). Also, what characters do you know that have costumes that match with the Del Saber combo? pinkish-Hunters just seem off, especially for those of a male Hunter.

I think I might've got mine on Normal (or maybe hard) just before I went to fight Dark Falz. I couldn't use it though so I smacked him around with my Frying Pan (the ultimate weapon ^_^)

I have a Delsaber's Shield, but still need the other arm for the buster.

The first room of Doc's Secret Plan has like 5 of them, so you can just repeat that over and over; 1/142 odds.
