To answer the question of the thread's title... Why yes, I am playing Blue Burst. You have no idea how long I've been waiting to play PSO online, and from what I did on BB last night, it sure was more fun than going down to Ragol on my own!

As for the graphics, I did notice and improvement in them from my Gamecube version. I have it going right now (to tide me over until the servers are back up), and the colors on Blue Burst seem more vibrant, bold, and just plain enhanced. That could just be the fact that my TV has an awful picture and my monitor is a 17" flat screen, though.

with todays technology, I'm pretty sure you can get better quality one CRT's, not sure though

WEll yeah...just like the TV's today..you got reg color..then u got plasma and digital tv's..all deferent..but thats just an example of how you could get better picture out of it lol.

The differences between my Gamecube version and BB running on MY computer.

1. computer has sharper textures
2. BB has faster loading due to no disc
3. characters do have higher polygon counts
4. much less pop-in of the graphics on BB
5. although BB already has keyboard due to being on a PC, it's annoying having to press spacebar everytime I want to talk

Once these god-forsaken servers get back up I'll get back to my quest to get lots of meseta since I've already bought ryuker and reverser and know resta lvl 3 which means I can actually 'heal' people and not have to watch people die because I can't heal them.

Im starting to get used to my ps2-controller now (2-3 years on the gamecube just makes it not that easy to just switch controller)

Im still loving it, and im sure playing after the beta.
everyone should get hold of that server check-url.

how many people are forced to use the keyboard to play the game?
it is clunky at first but now i am really used to it and i can do things more natarally.

For some reason I have to press Ctrl+space twice to be able to type, but I got used to it . I don't like the controls they give at all. I'd rather use my defective PC joypad .

And your signature, Fabo Craven, yes. There are many new players around . Reminds me of how clueless I used to be. (I managed to just keep a group of three lv6 new players alive at the end of a Dragon fight. Used up 4 Moon atomizers. Force's duty... )
