Al rappys appearing in "the fake in yellow"

I have been told by tonnes of people that you cannot find a al rappy in this quest, that monsters are not random in quests.

but upon playing one of the early quests i found one!

Has anyone managed to find the rare rappys even with telepiping/ryukering?

That quest is the best place to find them, seeing how many bloomin rappy's are in it!

i'm not sure why many people have told you about not being able to find the al rappies in this quest, because this is in fact the quest that many people turn to for rappy piping. a rare enemy can happen pretty everywhere that there is an enemy that can turn rare.
and you just found this one running around? it don't think it matters though, because piping is just an easier form of not having to do a lot of runs of the same quest for a rare enemy. you can find the al rappy any way in this quest, whether you happen to see one or you pipe it.

You'll usually find a rare rappy in FiY under 11 runs. I found several without piping.

Im just going on what i get told, apparently people trying for hours...couldnt find any..

But seen as i found one on a quest, the info is obviously wrong

perhaps its not random on the DC?

On DC, it takes 22 FiY on average, supposedly. Mirinee told me it's 1/1024 REAR [rare enemy appearance rate]; I think it might be a harder than 1/1024. Ask Kefka.

i just did that quest today and i found 3 very easily by piping. only took a min or 2

It's so random, I've found two Pals in one run, then none for hours while piping, then find two or three in a row piping, and none on runs for days. Choose your method.....I mix both. That damn Angel Harp hasn't dropped. I 'spose that's what I get for getting the Agito '75 on my first Pal, and I didn't even know that's what it dropped.

I killed 24 Pals to try and get that damned weapon! Still no agito...
