Nos - hacking a game isn't difficult, it just requires the relevent tools, take diablo2 as an example.

A packet sniffer and sender is often all you need to dupe etc..

anything stored by the client can be modified so items could just be created and spawned with stupid stats..

If an addon came out that let you read save files from memory cards on a PC (like almost happened with N64), you could use other ppls saves, or hex your own.

ok SEGA, are stupid the DC,X-BOX,GC,PC are all the same file systems, using same methods of how the game works, thus meaning all the old nastys will probly come back, i bet if i had a x-box i could crack a crash lobby in about 4 minutes once rippied onto the hdd. :p Thats how easy it is. I just convert my knowledge from PSO PC on PSOX, Now GC hasnt got any real good way to modify the main files, so its a bit harder. But still no PSOGC codes have been made since there is no real good GC to PC hook up and probly software as well. But who knows, i also think PSOX users can get on PSOGC and vise verser. So you might seen some x-box users on GC servers in the new future.
