A little Fomar help please

This would be my first force that I'm raising right now so obviously I'm not a force expert, but I guess I kinda know the basics. Anyway I've got a couple questions (He's Pinkal lv.34)

Is it possible for him to be pretty good at both melee and tech.'s at the same time and not just one of them? (I plan on raising two mags one for melee and one for tech.'s)

And secondly, is it ok for a decent mind mag to still have lv. 30 for power, 20 for def. and at least 20-25 for dex.? (I'm trying to get a nidra for his tech. mag and I'm already giving him a rati for melee)

This isn't really needed since I basicaly know the answers to this, but just for curiosity what would anybody recomend for good force weapons and melee force weapons? (I've got all id's except for yellowboze and bluefull)

A FOmar is the melee force, of course they can be melee and techy considering their Shifta and Deband. However, it is very difficult to be brilliant at two things. Poo_Fly's FOmar has max ATP, but he only uses S/D J/Z for techs so he doesn't need more mind. My FOmar Charlie hits for 600 damage with a Foie on V.Hard at level 48. He can't hit for any real damage though.

Charlie's mag has 136 Mind, that isn't far off what your mind mag would have and he does very well with it. Roll with it man.

The main thing I would like to know is that if you can have a really good melee and tech fomar at the same time. Like lets say I feel like using him for melee one day so i bust out my power mag and melee weps while the next day I feel like being a tech fo. with him I take out my mind mag and tech weapons.

I think the point was its possible, but either with sacrifices(melee damage or tech levels) or with extremely high level to make up for the gap in stats between the mags and weapons usable by your level of character.

Should a melee Force then use Force Weapon ? Or should u go out therre with ur Soul Eater and Double Saber ?

I would say, if ur High Enough to use Force Weapons with ur natural MST (like Elysion or Caduceus) u should take them on. But for the Beginning (Till lvl 70/80) u should use Weapons like Soul Eater ! Dont u guys think so ?

now that I'm on ultimate I have to use his tech.'s instead of melee because he's not strong enough yet he's lv. 61.

yes, fomars can be used effectively as melee or tech users. This is especially true if you mag switch and equipment switch. The only thing that might offset this is if your mat usage doesn't comply with it. Meaning if you used only pow mats, or only mind mats. If you plan to change your playing style frequently, make sure you get a good mix of power and mind mats.

For my fomar, I have him at a decent level for doing both, without having to mag switch. I use a robochao mag with stats: 15/90/20/75, and it fits my playing style perfectly. I also use a god/mind, and god/hp. My mst is slightly higher than my power (I think my atp is 965 and my mst is 980). Another reason why you want to have high mst is so that your resta heals more effectively.

If you want to play a tech fomar, make sure use their class's strong techniques (gizonde is really useful). Fomars are a really interesting class, and I wish you luck with yours.

Yes thats a good way ! I think ill use my Rukmin (10,105, 40,45) first, till i fed up a new one !

thanks everyone, Right now I'm using 2 lv. 200 mags. Rati for power and Nidra for mind. They both have at least ok dex. to be able to hit decently.
