Then this tactic might work, if the PSP version realeases with this boss fight, sure might be, you can be a protranser, spam many confuse trap EX and run circling around the stage that will make them purely get confused in the way, EX traps are protranser only, make great damage, keep the enemies in ailments and anything that is not a boss battle can get in trouble thanks to these. Protransers will be available in PSP PSU if you have your classes in Hunter, ranger and force in 4.

I almost forgot in PSP PSU protranser can carry up to 20 of the same EX trap.

Protranser? I have no idea what that is.... I should play PSU more... Is the PSP version going to be the same as the Ps2 one?

No! It will include the new missions, Episode 3 and will have 7 classes to choose. Protranser is one you can get unlocked if you have Hunter, Ranger and Force in 4, if you are human, you get a 5% overall status boost!

Huh soo the psp one got ep3.....man i need to get me a psp! Time to save up some money! I never change my class soo i never got the protranser, i think i should change it now!

There is a problem now, we dont know if PSP PSU will be Japanese only. After all, SEGA is dissapointed with the bad rate PSP has in america and prolly not launch an english version

Well, a friend of mine already played the japanese version, he quited since it was to much japanese for him.

Will this mission be avaiable somehow for the PSP users?

About the chance of the PSP game coming to the US/EU:

In a Gamasutra interview, Sega of America President Simon Jeffery hinted at a Western release for Phantasy Star Portable. Here is a quote from the interview:

Gamasutra: I was amused to see the Phantasy Star Portable news, because it was like a lightbulb went off at Sega. "Maybe we should take our idea back from Monster Hunter!"
Simon Jeffery: Right. (laughter) I think that's exactly what happened at Sega!

Gamasutra: Capcom has had difficulty putting that model forward in the west, but Phantasy Star has done okay. Maybe not as well as it should, but okay.
Simon Jeffery: It's done okay, and there's still quite a lot of people out there playing it every month.

Gamasutra: So do you think you can take that market here with that title?
Simon Jeffery: I think that it's not going to be a blockbuster success, but I think it will be a niche success. I'm certainly hopeful that it's more of a success in the west than Monster Hunter has been. There is a built-in audience for it already there.

I think the crossover of the PSP ownership will work quite nicely, so we're fairly hopeful we can make something out of it. It's not going to be huge, but hopefully it'll be interesting.

While a Western release has not been formally announced yet, these comments should be taken as strong indication that Phantasy Star Portable will be released outside Japan.
