E-mail notifications: how to turn off
#1
I keep on getting E-mails saying some posted in a fourm that i posted in. How do you turn this off? You really need a sticky on this. Maybe you can answer and make this a sticky or something. Can you tell me how?

I don't get them as often as I used to, probably because the site can't keep up with my avid posting, but as far as I know, there is nothing you can really do, although I did turn mine off as well a while back.

Go to Quick Links->Edit Options.

About 1/3 down, there is a whole section called Messagin & Notification. Turn off any options you don't want BUT turn off Subsribe to threads.
Then go to Subscriptions on the side, and delete all the threads. That should stop you from getting any emails you don't want.

Well that would suck, because then you wouldn't subscribe to threads, and wouldn't know if anyone made a new post on the topic you posted in, correct?

what they have already mentioned. and there's an easy way to tell if there's a new post. look at the thread you've posted inBig Grin if there are any new posts since your last view they should be yellow or orange depending on how popular of a topic it was
RIP nomercy.
