i just got the master sword now, made a few trips to get the ballad of gale, or whatever, and go to a few fairy fountains. now i have to go to forsaken fortress and fight phantom gannon. has anyone got 500 hits on that one swordsman guy on outset island (hometown)?

I did have about that many hits on my first file (that I ever played the game on) but I copied that file when I made it to the 2nd runthrough and deleted the first runthrough version of the file so I could start over. For succeeding in getting hundreds of hits on the old man (Orca) you get 1 heart piece and then all you get after is a bunch of rupees.

I have done 900, you get a piece of heart for doing 700 hits to the old man. I'm in a temple with Medli (Chicken Woman) at the mo.
