Photon Crystals!?
What are they for? I know they aren´t official, they´re hacks or whatever you´d call it, but perhaps they have an intended future use? Was dumb enough to trade me one for a legit ANGRY FIST yesterday and then realised that there´s probably no way in which I can use it. Paganini isn´t interested and I don´t think this is an Dr Osto thing.
Someone enlighten me please, if you have any good info ´bout this item!

A Photon Crystal? I don't think I've heard of those. If you mean Drops or Spheres those are legit. And here's how to use them.
In an online game, you must go to the quest named, "Gallon's Shop" (Youll be in episode 2's Pioneer 2) Go to where all of the telepipes would be set if you were to be playing a regular game, and if you turn around you should see a FOnewm. Talk to him and (Make sure you have some on you) he'll say his father collects those. Say you want to met him, then he will offer you items for all the drops/spheres you have. (Just your character, not your bank) Depending on how many you have, he will offer items.

lovely guide on this with an accurate table of what you can find.
EDIT: I'm sorry I didn't read your post entirely. If Pagini isn't interested I don't know then. Can you get a picture of it?

Can´t get a picture but what I´ve heard/read about it somewhere is that it´s an item that might be released and that it existed on the DC version. I´m not sure of this, it´s just something I think I´ve read somewhere in a pso forum. I´m 100% sure it is an illegit item, right now at least, but why create it if it can´t be used/utilized someway. I´m on Xbox Live so if you´re on an other platform, I guess you are, that´s probably why you haven´t seen it/heard of it. The hackers and dupers might not be as persistent where you are. What do I know? - Still, that I´ve traded me an Photon Crystal I haven´t got a clue what to do with.
I guess it´s just a useless curiosity item.

Ok, sounds good. It probobly is an Xbox exclusive. I'm on GameCube so that could be why I've never heard of it.

There is such thing as a Photon Crystal, but it is an item new to EpI&II -- not on DC.
It is not yet hacked in on GC, but it is here on the game file.
It is unreleased on either NGC or Xbox.
Its purpose is unknown, just like the use of Photon Spheres was unknown until Wet Tower came out.
Perhaps in the future, but knowing ST, perhaps not.

Wet Tower? Where will I find that quest? It sounds interesting!
Why do people hack items into the game that have no use? It seems silly to me :S

But usually hacked items don't have the same properties as legit ones. Wouldn't it make more sense to just dupe the things when they are released?

yes it would, the mind of a hacker is a complex circle.
They just hack into the game data, make an item of it, and then they do it again, they never accomplish anything, but they're proud of themselves for makeing something useless.
