Well, I'd say that the most important aspect of enjoyment would be people to play online with, HOWEVER;

I certainly wouldn't mind it if GC got a headset feature, that would rock Tongue

You need a hunters liscense to play on the Gamecube! The fees are exactly the same! With a GC you need to shelve out even more money to buy a modem separately and a keyboard! It turns out to be waaay more expensive to play GC PSO online that it is with Xbox. Its all in one package with Xbox.

And... where is the evidence that there are more US and UK players playing on GC.... even if that is the case it does not prove that the GC version is better! The fact that you have voice chat makes the experience of playing PSO a lot more addictive.

As I said before, just because some films sell better than others, doesnt make the film better....

It may cost more to get a adapter, but XBOX cost more in the first place, so that's evened out.

More players is the highest proof possible! More people are attracted to GC, what else do you need?

The headset is the only redeemable feature.

The console XBox cost more than GC in the first place, yes... but that is completely irrelevant, I dont know anyone who bought an Xbox purely for PSO. With GC, in order to play PSO, you MUST fork out that extra money to play it online. So the fact that the xbox is a more expensive console is irrelevant.

....okay more people IN JAPAN.... are attracted to Gamecube.... but were they attracted to PSO? I seriously doubt it, I dont know anyone who bought the GC purely to play PSO!

Most players playing is no evidence whatsoever, as I have said already and I am annoyed to repeat again... people in Japan who bought more GC's than Xbox's (because they support their Japanese company) have no choice which platform they play PSO on but GC, because there is no other way for them to play PSO!

To say more people play the GC version IN JAPAN that is..... does not prove that the GC version is better!

Take Fifa 2004, released on PS2, Xbox and GC..... PS2 sold more units as a console... therefore more people have Fifa 2004 on the PS2 than the xbox and GC.... does that mean the PS2 version is better???????? Does it?.. and that is where your logic is flawed.

.... i bought my GC purely for PSO, but only because i was under the understanding that you NEED Xbox live to to play PSO on the Xbox (the game cover says Xbox live Required to play)

yeah. me to. i bought GC just for playing pso. of course i got other games later on, but mainly for pso.(only other game i bought for it was zelda: the wind waker, but i borrow kinda alot, and when my firends are over we play smash bros.) its more expensive playing pso on the xbox, because you need xbox live (even to play offline) and you need hunters lisence (or am i wrong?).

--I wouldnt be too surprised if some people on this forum bought a GC just for PSO, as this is a PSO fan site forum. However, that does not apply to the whole Japanese population who own a GC, does it?

I dont care what anyone says, read my reply a few posts up, the fact that more Japanese people play PSO GC, does NOT mean the GC version is better!

Btw.....

The XBOX version is not more expensive silent bob, because xbox live only costs £40 or roughly $60, and thats everythiny up and running.

Taking into account the cost of a GC modem, it will cost more, plus the cost of a keyboard as well! So no, the GC version is more expensive ONLY if you want to play online. Offline, the GC version is cheaper. However, a minority of people play PSO offline only.
